Work insights – week 4: never forget photos can lie

I had lunch with my team last week, and we were unlucky enough to be victims of false advertising when we ate at Piadina in Galleria.

Expectations
Reality

There is a very obvious lack of greens there.

Needless to say, this turned me off Piadina for the most part. It’s a small piece of chicken, horridly overpriced for its size, and I swear I can get better from Kenny Roger’s.

One of us ordered a different set meal:

one of the set meals with pork. which was 40% fat, 20% bone.

I swear, you don’t get much of your money’s worth.

I ordered Piadina Caponata (Php 165), which was…okay, at best.

With bell peppers, celery, eggplant, tomatoes, raisins and mozzarella

I know Italian is different from Mediterranean, but I’d eat at Cafe Mediterranean over Piadina any day. I remember getting more full, and feeling like I got my money’s worth. Everything had more flavor compared to the staleness of Piadina.

(There is a Bonchon Chicken across the Piadina at Galleria. GO EAT THERE INSTEAD! If there are no tables, just order take out! Get the non-spicy ones! BEST FRIED CHICKEN EVER!)
